Another long-term interest has been using, growing and reading about Herbs and Spices. In my garden at home I grew maybe ten kinds of basil, two kinds of Fennel and huge amounts of Rosemary, Sage, Sorrel

and Tarragon. Inside my kitchen were chilli plants and dried chillis from Mexico and South east Asia. Also indoors was my all-time favourite plant, AloeVera. These things could be used for preserving, cooking or just looking at.
